Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a senior Software Engineer focused on data and Java based in France. This fully remote role combines Java backend development with data-driven system design for scalable enterprise applications.

You will work across data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows, collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, high-volume services and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend and data-focused environments.
• Strong hands-on Java development skills with production-grade backend services.
• Experience with data-oriented systems, ETL, data processing workflows, or backend data services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and scalable enterprise applications.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, and large-scale data processing tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based backend services and data-processing components.
• Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, processing, and system integration solutions.
• Design reliable backend and data services for enterprise applications and high-volume workloads.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of data services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, production incidents, and technical issues across both application and data layers.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold clean coding standards, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
