Pelico seeks an experienced Lead ETL Backend Engineer to drive scalable data pipelines using Java/Kotlin for our manufacturing intelligence platform. You will design, implement, and optimize backend components, APIs, and data processing at scale, while ensuring performance and reliability.

You will mentor junior engineers, shape system architecture, and partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD, security, and data integrity across distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building ETL backends in Java or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, processing, and analytics at scale.
• Experience with relational databases and API development.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and performance optimization.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and CI/CD practices.
