Job summary

Horizon Trading Solutions is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to internalize accounting processes, strengthen compliance with international standards, and drive ERP and AI-enabled improvements. This hands-on role combines general ledger ownership with system implementation and robust financial reporting for global stakeholders.

You will collaborate with external accountants during the transition, enhance close processes, and build controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closes
• Strong reconciliation skills and cross-border reporting experience
• Experience with ERP implementations and data migrations
• Excellent Excel skills and data handling experience

Responsibilities

• Own accounting operations, handover from external accountants, and month-end close
• Strengthen closing schedules, journal entries, and variance explanations
• Establish reconciliations and robust internal controls
• Lead ERP implementation phases from requirements to go-live
• Pilot AI use cases for accounting processes and ensure governance
