Electra is hiring in Bordeaux to build the software layer that makes high-power charging reliable in the real world. You will own station supervision, design backend services, APIs, and interfaces coordinating chargers, batteries, and power delivery.

The role spans backend, frontend UX, and integrations with physical-world systems, with a focus on reliability, observability, and performance. 2 days remote per week; based in Bordeaux, France.

Qualifications

• Experienced hands-on full-stack, backend, web or IoT-adjacent software engineer with a track record shipping production-grade systems.
• You will work across the stack—backend services, APIs, infrastructure, observability, frontend UX, and integrations with physical-world systems.
• You bring strong technical judgment, ownership, product sense, reliability, performance, security, data quality, edge cases, and operational workflows.
• You are a fast learner, capable in a complex domain, collaborating with product, operations and energy teams.
• Experience with Go, Ruby on Rails, AWS, OpenTelemetry, distributed architectures, or AI-assisted engineering is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and operate station-supervision systems.
• Design, ship, and maintain backend services, APIs, and operational interfaces.
• Improve reliability, observability, data quality, and incident prevention so stations stay online and charge at full power.
• Own power-delivery challenges end to end and coordinate with on-site assets.
