Soda is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Platform team, owning the Java services that power Soda Cloud and the AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure. You will design and build backend services, ship features end-to-end with product and customers, and scale the platform to billions of datasets.

As a product-focused engineer, you’ll work closely with PMs and users, embrace AI coding agents, and own the platform from development to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend software at a product company; ownership of production services.
• Strong Java: APIs, async processing, concurrency, performance tuning.
• Solid SQL in a backend context: schema design, query optimization, migrations in production.

Responsabilités

• Design and build robust backend services and APIs in Java for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Ship product features end-to-end in collaboration with product and customers.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of services and environments on AWS/Kubernetes.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to keep deployment fast and safe.
• Improve agentic development support: AI coding agents within the platform.
