Moka Care in Paris is looking for an experienced candidate with 8+ years in object-oriented programming, specifically with Ruby. Ideal applicants should be skilled in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

As part of the ProTech team, you'll work closely with the Product team, deploying code continuously throughout the day. Strong communication skills in English and French are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with an object-oriented language such as Ruby.
• Proficient in Ruby on Rails or another web framework.
• Experience with infrastructure management and/or AI pipelines.
• Strong testing practices, such as using RSpec.
• Ability to write well-designed and readable code.
• Effective communication skills in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Continuous deployment practices, averaging ~15 deployments a day.
• Close collaboration with the Product team as part of the ProTech team.

You’re the ideal person if:

• You have 8+ years experience with an object-oriented language such as Ruby
• You are experienced with Ruby on Rails or another web framework (e.g. Spring, Symfony, Laravel, Django), as well as with JavaScript and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• You have experience with infrastructure management and/or AI pipelines
• You test your code (e.g. using RSpec)
• You write well-designed and readable code
• You communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and French
• You like to learn new things

• We deploy continuously (you open a PR, it’s reviewed then deployed) around ~15 times a day. Our average review time is under one day, and we keep PRs small (under 75 lines of code).
• We collaborate very closely with the Product team and often refer to ourselves internally as the ProTech team.

Internal Tools : Slack for communication, Notion as our knowledge base, Google Drive for shared documents, 1password for secure password management, Github & AWS for code and deployment.
