Spore Bio seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to own deployments, commissioning, and the scale‑up of field operations across global client sites. You will lead the team building and standardising processes, tooling and documentation while driving reliability and performance in the field.

You will be the technical escalation point, diagnosing complex issues spanning optics, electronics, mechanics and software.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in optronics, mechatronics, instrumentation, applied physics, or related field.
• 5–8 years in field service, systems engineering, or similar role with complex multi-disciplinary systems.
• Strong foundation in optics/photonics or mechatronics/instrumentation; embedded electronics and software knowledge valued.

Responsabilités

• Deploy and validate machine deployments at customer sites across applicable industries.
• Build and mature field service organisation: processes, tooling and people for scalable operations.
• Be final escalation point for complex field issues across optics, electronics, mechanics and software; feed R&D with insights.
• Oversee fleet operations: maintenance planning, remote monitoring, logistics and field reporting.
