Spore.Bio is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to own deployments across pharma, cosmetics, and food industries. You will manage installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of advanced instrumentation, while building a scalable field service organization and close collaboration with R&D.

The role requires leadership in cross-disciplinary teams, strong customer-facing communication, and autonomy in challenging field environments.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in optronics, mechatronics, instrumentation, applied physics, or related field.
5–8 years in field service or similar technical role with complex multi-disciplinary systems.
Strong foundation in optics/photonics or mechatronics/instrumentation; comfortable bridging hardware and software.

Responsabilités

Own deployments end-to-end, from installation to commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
Define standards and handover protocols for field deployments.
Build and scale the field service organization, including processes, tools, and staffing.
Provide technical escalation support across optics, electronics, mechanics, and software, feeding insights to R&D.
Oversee fleet operations, remote monitoring, logistics, and customer reporting.
