Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an FAE/Systems Optimization Engineer to drive technical sales activities and partner with Sales to design optimal server/storage solutions. You will demonstrate systems, firmware, and virtualization knowledge, guiding projects from pre-sales through post-sales support.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to travel up to 25% and work in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Paris or surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering (computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with Compute/Storage Server or Data Center/IT Infra.
• Strong background in x86-based server architecture and HW/SW interactions.
• Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and extended teams to map customer requirements and provide optimized technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in Pre-Sales and oversee implementation of solutions.
• Lead investigations and coordinate across disciplines to resolve field issues.
