Job summary

HKU Careers is seeking an Executive Officer/Clerk I (Senior Executive Assistant) for the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine. The appointment is two-year fixed-term or one-year temporary, with possible renewal based on performance.

A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years' full-time experience is required, with excellent Chinese/English language skills. The appointee will support the Chief Department Administrator in HR, research administration, and finance/budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with at least 5 years' full-time work experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Strong sense of responsibility and outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Department Administrator in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Department.
• Handle Human Resources Management, Research Administration, and Finance & Budgeting tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in written tests/interviews as required.
