Job summary

HKU Careers invites applications for a Senior Technical Assistant in the Bioresearch Support Core at the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS). The role provides training and technical support to users, manages and maintains laboratory instruments, and assists in procurement and stock management.

The appointment is two-year fixed-term with gratuity and retirement benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience; fresh graduates may be considered and the role offers opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Biological or Biomedical research related is a plus.
• Experience in administration and procurement is preferred.
• Self-motivated, responsible, have good communication skills and enjoy teamwork.
• Fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer.
