Job summary

MANITOU Group in Ancenis, France, seeks a Senior Buyer to drive the purchasing strategy for accessories across Europe. You will lead supplier selection, RFQs and negotiations for OEM and aftermarket needs, coordinating with logistics and US counterparts.

You will work within a Europe-wide team, overseeing a large component portfolio and driving cost optimization alongside R&D. Fluency in English is required; Italian is a plus, with up to 2 days remote after three months.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Purchasing or Engineering with Purchasing specialization.
• 5–8 years in an industrial purchasing role with exposure to components or assemblies.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, CE standards and cost structures is useful.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy purchasing strategy for accessories family for OEM and aftermarket needs.
• Coordinate requirements with logistics and optimize supplier panel in Europe and with US stakeholders.
• Lead RFQs, negotiate pricing, lead times and framework agreements.
• Ensure productivity initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Structure Spare Parts Purchasing for welded assemblies and identify synergies.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, on-time delivery, competitiveness).
• Collaborate with Accessory Project Buyer and R&D to design accessories and optimize cost.
