Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is hiring in Paris to lead risk governance for FAB France, reporting to the Country Chief Risk Officer and ERM leadership. The role ensures independent oversight of ERM, Pillar 2 compliance and regulatory reporting, while coordinating with Group Risk Management and Credit Risk teams to align policies, limit frameworks and risk appetite.

Qualifications

• Diploma (5 years) in banking/finance or related field.
• Experience in banking or a similar sector.
• Good knowledge of CRR/CRD regulations.
• Knowledge of ICAAP/ILAAP, stress testing and modelling.
• Proficient in MS Office and financial tools.
• English and French written/spoken at operational level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in committees as per FAB France Governance Framework (ICAAP/ILAAP).
• Oversee development and review of risk policies and Pillar 2 docs.
• Manage comprehensive risk reporting framework for Country Risk Committee.
• Provide regular risk reports and assist in mitigation decisions.
• Conduct scenario definition, stress testing and model calibration for ICAAP/ILAAP.
• Ensure Pillar 2 calculations align with French/EU requirements.
• Oversee monitoring of risk appetite indicators and reporting cadence.
