Bank of America in Paris is seeking a Compliance & Operational Risk Manager to drive second line oversight over prudential risk, with a focus on Market Risk and Model Risk for EU entities. The role collaborates with a vibrant team to ensure policy deployment and risk controls across Front-Line Units and Control Functions.

The ideal candidate brings several years of relevant financial services experience, strong regulatory understanding and the ability to challenge risk in a complex environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Experience in prudential LRR coverage and regulatory oversight.

Responsabilités

• Assesses Front-Line Unit and Control Function processes for regulatory compliance.
• Provides independent compliance and risk oversight of FLU/CF performance.
• Identifies, escalates and mitigates compliance and operational risks.
• Maintains inventory of processes, risks, controls and metrics.
• Supports independent risk management reporting for governance routines.
• Interprets laws, rules and regulations to advise stakeholders.
• Reviews and challenges risk inventories and SOX-like controls.
