EGIDE in Paris region seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design and industrialization of electronic boards for defense systems. You will own embedded processing, power electronics, and safety-critical functions, driving cost-down, manufacturability, and supplier collaboration.

You will cover architecture to manufacturing methods, with EMS management, DFM/DFT rigor, and validation across MIL-STD and IPC standards; on-site collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics, electrical engineering, embedded systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years of electronic board design and industrialization experience, including a product brought to high-volume production.
• Proven design-to-cost track record with BOM optimization and cost-down programs.
• Strong knowledge of SMT, IPC standards and DFM / DFA / DFT practices.
• Experience managing EMS subcontractors from RFQ to series production; FAI and yield improvements.

Responsabilités

• Design and lead development of a standardized family of embedded boards with cost targets.
• Select components for cost, availability, and volume; implement safety logic by design on safety-critical boards.
• Drive design for high-volume manufacturing: DFM, DFT, traceability, and testing strategies.
• Define manufacturing methods and processes; manage EMS partners and transfers to production.
• Lead ramp-up from prototypes to pre-series and series; monitor yield and SPC.
• Perform cost-down and value engineering on released boards; qualification by similarity.
