Schneider Electric in Grenoble is seeking an electronics engineer to design and evolve digital boards for industrial energy measurement products. The role covers end-to-end development from requirement analysis to bring-up and validation within a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate should have a electronics engineering degree and proven experience in embedded digital board design, MPU/SoC architectures, high-speed interfaces, and hands-on lab debugging.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent.
• Proven experience in digital electronic board design in embedded and industrial environments.
• Strong command of MPU/SoC-based digital architectures.
• Experience integrating memories, high-speed interfaces and power functions.
• Knowledge of PCB constraints, stack-up, critical signal routing and manufacturability.
• Hands-on lab bring-up and hardware debugging (e.g. high-speed oscilloscope).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with PCB designer, industrialization, procurement firmware and quality.
• Technical rigor, analytical skills, autonomy and strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Participate in requirement analysis and hardware architecture specification.
• Design digital electronic boards based on MPU/SoC architectures.
• Integrate memories, clocks, high-speed interfaces and power functions.
• Define design choices for performance, robustness and industrialization.
• Drive PCB layout constraints in coordination with routing specialists.
• Contribute to bring-up, hardware testing, validation and debugging.
• Participate in failure analysis, technical reviews and continuous improvement.
• Document technical choices, constraints and validation results.
