Harmattan AI in Paris seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic boards and embedded systems (SoM) for UAVs, including Flight Controllers and Companion Computers. The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of five years in complex electronic system design, and deep knowledge of processors, DDR/Flash and Altium.

Experience with robotics or aerospace systems is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of experience in complex electronic system design.
• In-depth knowledge of processors, memory domains (DDR, Flash) and electronic CAD tools (e.g., Altium).
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment and lab instrumentation.
• Robotics or Aerospace systems experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• High-performance embedded system design: architecture, integration of boards with processors and sensors.
• Advanced schematic and routing: create schematics and route boards meeting specs.
• Physical integration: collaborate with Mechanical to fit boards into final product.
• Sensor integration: work with GNC to ensure proper sensor interfacing.
• EMC considerations: address EMC and ensure signal integrity.
• Troubleshooting: identify and resolve electrical/electronic issues.
• Testing and Validation: perform testing and performance validation of boards.
