Harmattan AI, an autonomous defense innovator, seeks an Embedded Electrical Engineer to design compute modules and boards for flight-qualified platforms. You will own from system architecture to bring-up and qualification, with hands-on bench work to move hardware from prototype to production.

Role requires 5+ years in embedded hardware, MSc in engineering, and strong skills in high-speed design, power topology, and signal integrity.

Qualifications

• MSc in electrical, computer, or related engineering field; PhD is a plus.
• Hands-on design and bring-up record matters more than degree.

Responsabilités

• Design SoMs, baseboards, and test boards for compute platforms.
• Lead high-speed digital design around PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, and MIPI.
• Design power trees, sequencing, and conversion topologies; verify power-up/down.
• Prepare and lead design reviews from block diagram to fabrication release.
• Work with PCB/EMS partners on stack-up, via technology, and cost trade-offs.
• Define verification test plans and troubleshoot/characterise boards; run qualification.
• Collaborate with embedded software, mechanical, and flight-validation teams.
