Tilt is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of cutting-edge credit models using deep learning. You will work in our Methodologies group, leveraging neural networks, embeddings, and transformers to improve fair access to credit.

The role blends technical depth with cross-functional collaboration across Engineering and Product. You will own research and production-ready implementations, mentoring others, and driving the methodology forward across international teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and deploying deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Applied machine learning to real-world problems, ideally in financial services (credit, lending, or payments).
• First principles thinking: able to break down problems and justify model choices.

Responsabilités

• Architect deep learning architectures (transformers, embeddings, NNs) to define how Tilt understands risk.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to ensure models are scalable in the real world.
• Translate insights into actionable solutions for the lending platform.
