BeReal is scaling its data platform and seeking a data engineer to build robust data pipelines, contribute to production code, and own projects from design to release. You will work closely with backend, data science, mobile apps, and product teams in a fast, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proven track record building and optimising large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with unstructured data.
• Result-oriented with business value focus.
• Curiosity about business needs and agile data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of ML concepts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Construct and manage robust data pipelines to support evolving business needs.
• Contribute to the codebase, push changes to production, promote good data engineering practices.
• Own projects from scoping to release, including estimation and architecture design.
• Work in an agile environment with fast decision cycles and cross-team collaboration.
