Voodoo in Paris is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Engineering & Data team. You’ll build and operate robust data pipelines, ship changes to production, and promote strong data engineering practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with back-end engineers, data scientists, game and app teams, product and marketing. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the Paris office, with flexible remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience building robust data pipelines and data platforms.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data engineering in cloud environments.

Responsabilités

• Build and operate robust data pipelines that keep pace with evolving business needs.
• Contribute to the codebase, ship and maintain changes in production, and champion strong coding practices.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of daily workflow to move faster on pipelines, migrations, tests and documentation.
• Look for opportunities to put AI inside the data platform: LLM-assisted data quality checks, semantic layers, natural-language data access, agent-driven tooling.
• Take ownership of projects from initial discussions to release: estimation, architecture, benchmarking, feedback.
• Work in an agile environment with fast decision processes.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, data scientists, game and app teams, product and marketing.
