Signify Technology in Paris is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing systems.

You will work across data reliability, quality, and performance improvements, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver data capabilities and governance. The role emphasizes scalable, production-grade data solutions and modern storage formats.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience designing, developing, and supporting production-grade data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with exposure to Scala or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL) for large-scale processing.
• Experience with stream-processing technologies (e.g., Spark Streaming).
• Familiarity with Parquet and modern storage formats like Apache Iceberg.
• Strong understanding of batch vs streaming architectures and data quality practices.
• Proven ability to improve query performance and data processing efficiency.
• Knowledge of distributed data processing engines and data lakes.
