PUR is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Paris to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering analytics and decision making. You will transform raw project data into high-quality datasets via robust ETL processes, modern data architectures, and Python-based practices.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, trustworthy, and aligned with analytical needs while contributing to the evolution of our cloud data platform and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering with production-grade ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL expertise and knowledge of relational and analytical databases.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster) and automated testing.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude is a plus).
• Solid Git skills and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem solving, data quality focus, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and validation for large datasets.
• Design and maintain data models supporting reporting and analytics.
• Implement data quality controls to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Manage workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Contribute to cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure.
• Support CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote data engineering best practices.
