Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd is seeking a Senior Cost Management professional to lead cost control for data centres projects, covering SCA and M&E scopes. You will support Directors, manage cost plans, forecasts, tenders, and contract administration, ensuring profitability and compliance.

The role requires sound knowledge of data-centre equipment/engineering standards, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Sound cost management experience in large-scale construction projects, including data centres or other mission-critical projects, both pre- and post-contract.
• Knowledge of industry standards around equipment and engineering specifications relating to Data Centers.
• Good knowledge and experience of post-contract cost management tasks.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent problem, negotiating, finance and numeracy management skills.
• Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English. French is desirable.
• National mobility.

Responsabilités

• Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
• Deliver high-quality cost management deliverables meeting Customers’ requirements.
• Manage projects and deliver high-quality services and deliverables per business procedures.
• Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies.
• Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Cost-in-use studies.
• Evaluate and report on tenders.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Settle final accounts.
• Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
• Produce and present reports to Customers.
• Work with project teams to integrate cost management into delivery.
• Identify and manage cost-related risks and opportunities in services.
• Manage service delivery for profit.
• Advise Directors promptly of issues affecting Gleeds PI insurance.
