Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a highly experienced technical lead for our Cloud & Service Providers Solution Center Europe. You will steer the technical side of tenders, coordinating engineers, regional support, factories and partners into a cohesive, executable offer.

This is a customer-facing leadership role with influence over design choices and compliance across international accounts. You will drive pre-tender prescription, RFQ explanations, and post-submission clarifications while ensuring

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 7 years’ experience leading the technical scope of customer projects, ideally large and international.
• Solid electrical design foundations in LV and MV, and a good understanding of UPS systems.
• Tender or bid experience: you have worked on RFQs or technical offers and know how to deliver under compressed timelines.
• Direct experience with demanding customers, in a customer-facing technical role.
• Data center experience is a strong advantage. We also welcome backgrounds from EPC contractors, engineering and consulting firms, oil & gas or other critical infrastructure.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for your customers on electrical design topics, building trust through clear and credible exchanges.
• Engage with customers’ central engineering teams ahead of RFQs to understand their technical drivers and influence design choices.
• Lead technical workshops and explain complex concepts, design choices and trade-offs to senior customer stakeholders.
• Review RFQs and technical documentation; define and validate the technical architecture, design assumptions and compliance matrices.
• Coordinate all technical contributors (engineers, experts, Regional Support Platform, factories, suppliers and partners) and keep them aligned with the RFQ and the tender timeline.
• Lead post-submission clarifications: defend technical choices, assess requested inclusions and exclusions, and coordinate revisions to build the strongest final proposal.
• Ensure tender commitments are technically sound, competitive and executable, and comply with Schneider Electric governance on quality, safety and cybersecurity.
• Hand over awarded projects to the execution teams and keep oversight through regular touchpoints; support the technical assessment of changes and variation orders.
