Cacheflow is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with customers in delivering production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own architecture, drive design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems across data engineering, AI, and application layers.

Ideal candidates combine engineering depth with customer empathy, travel up to 20%, and a proven ability to translate complex data problems into scalable, business-ready results.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Experience writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of multiple cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.
• Design and deployment of production end-to-end data architectures and applications that combine data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
• Experience with technical project delivery - managing scope, timelines and measurable outcomes.
• Travel to customers 20% of the time.
• Databricks Certification
