Odaseva is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale ingestion pipelines and high-performance data infrastructure in a SaaS environment. You will leverage Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, and AWS to deliver reliable, scalable data flows across the ecosystem.

Based in Paris, this hybrid role focuses on building lakehouse pipelines, data governance, and enabling AI use cases while collaborating with Product and R&D teams. Fluency in English and French is expected.

Qualifications

• Equivalent engineering degree, or Master in CS/DS/Applied Math.
• 7–12 years of data engineering or backend data platforms experience.
• Strong Python and SQL, with Spark and modern ELT/orchestration (dbt, Airflow).
• Hands-on Databricks and/or Snowflake in production.
• Experience with AWS data services and lakehouse formats.
• Knowledge of data security, governance and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines at scale using Python/SQL and Spark.
• Optimize Databricks and Snowflake workflows and cloud provider solutions.
• Improve performance, reliability, and cost on AWS with observability and IaC.
• Apply security-by-design, governance, and compliance across storage, compute, and sharing layers.
• Partner with Product/R&D to prepare data for AI/ML use cases.
• Enable secure data access for customers via connectors and lakehouse sharing patterns.
