Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Container Engineer based in France to join a globally distributed team managing a high-performance container platform. You will work across reliability, observability, and platform automation to support cloud-native applications at scale.

The role emphasizes evolution of the container stack, incident response, and cost-efficient architecture in a multi-tenant environment, with an autonomous, open-source friendly setup.

Qualifications

• At least five years in platform engineering, Kubernetes or container platform operations, SRE, or production infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in at least one area (Kubernetes/container tooling, software engineering, or SRE).
• Experience with multi-tenant infrastructure and workload isolation mechanisms.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, multiple accounts, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Pulumi or Terraform/AWS CDK.
• Kubernetes deployment, operation, troubleshooting, and platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and reliability targets for the container platform.
• Lead ORRs and improve observability with metrics, logs, and traces.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident resolution and postmortems.
• Build and maintain production-grade automation, controllers, and platform APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, rollout mechanisms, and release processes.
• Implement security automation including remediation and patch management.
• Develop automated testing suites to validate platform releases.
• Evolve the container tech stack and design resilient multi-tenant architectures.
• Improve infrastructure cost efficiency while maintaining security and performance.
• Assist product teams with sustainable operational practices and runbooks.
