Senior Consultant - Role Overview
Role: Senior Consultant. Technology: CAD, PDM, PLM, ITIL & Agile. Location: Toulouse, France.
In this role you will act as the key liaison between engineering business users, development teams, and project stakeholders in a SAFe Agile environment. You will drive the design, testing, and implementation of aerospace engineering and cabin interior solutions while supporting product development, PLM systems, and delivery cycles. You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning engineering goals with business value, conducting testing, managing delivery, and mentoring domain teams to execute programs aligned to strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify new work packages and drive value-based consulting engagements.
- Proactively generate opportunities to expand scope and influence in aerospace digital transformation programs.
- Translate business strategy into functional requirements and oversee their implementation in alignment with program goals.
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning activities with Product Owners (PO), Business Owners (BO), and SAFe/Agile teams to define features and objectives for each PI.
- Lead daily Agile ceremonies to track progress, remove blockers, and align teams toward PI goals.
- Responsible for delivery management of end-to-end aerospace engineering solutions.
- Sync with PO/BO to ensure continuous delivery of business value, maintaining high velocity and transparency.
- Act as a Business Focal Point for engineering projects—connecting technical delivery with stakeholder vision.
- Support RFPs/RFIs by engaging business teams to define scope and propose value-added solutions.
- Provide functional consulting on aircraft cabin interior design, structural modelling, and aerospace system installation.
- Expertise on PLM and CAD tools such as Enovia, CATIA V5/V6 to guide and validate engineering workflows.
- Conduct Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), functional validation, regression testing, and provide sign‑off for production deployment.
- Deliver functional and operations support for digital engineering solutions in aerospace programs (civil/commercial/rotary‑wing aircraft).
- Mentor and train new joiners in aerospace processes, cabin design principles, and tool usage.
- Strong documentation skills.
Qualifications – Required
- 7+ years of total experience, with strong functional consulting exposure in aerospace or manufacturing domains.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred) with active participation in PI planning, backlog refinement, and sprint execution.
- Hands‑on experience in aircraft cabin interior design, aerospace structure modelling, and engineering change management.
- Proven track record of leading functional testing, regression, UAT/BAT, and assisting production sign‑offs with users.
- Demonstrated experience in delivery ownership, coordinating global engineering teams across geographies.
- Consulting background with OEMs or Tier‑1 aerospace suppliers.
- Experience in Airbus process, methods, tools, standards and specifications.
Job Requirements
