A leading digital services provider in Toulouse seeks an experienced aerospace engineer to collaborate with offshore teams and manage technical communications. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, 5-10 years of hands-on experience in aerospace structural stress analysis, and be bilingual in French and English. Responsibilities include leading design reviews, supporting structural development, and ensuring compliance with Airbus processes. Competitive compensation and a dynamic work culture are offered.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.
  • Experience of using Airbus Supply tools.
  • Airbus Design Signatory experience required.
  • Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx).
  • Airbus Design Signatory experience (Checker/approver).
  • Valid Airbus training certificates in VPM and PASS SSI.
  • Experience in DMU reviews, Interface Point Management and multi partner environments.
  • Knowledge of DQN and RDR.
  • Bi-lingual (French and English).
  • 5-10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.
  • Proven experience working on Airbus aircraft programs (A320, A330, A350, A380, etc.).

Responsabilités

  • Collaborate closely with the offshore engineering team.
  • Manage discussions with French Technical Coordinators.
  • Lead and support structural design of primary aerospace components.
  • Solid understanding of aerospace design principles, airworthiness constraints, and manufacturing processes.
  • Review and validate design outputs such as 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bill Of Material to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise on structures, materials, stress sizing, manufacturing considerations, and certification constraints.
  • Providing support to other general design activities, e.g. Process improvements, cost reduction etc.
  • Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (stress, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to Airbus DMU, PLM, and configuration control processes.
  • Prepare and deliver design reviews (Maturity phases, PDR, CDR, DFM).
  • Manage engineering data, documentation, and deliverables in compliance with quality and configuration requirements.
  • Support digital continuity initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in design and communication processes.

Job Description
  • Collaborate closely with the offshore engineering team, ensuring clear technical communication, timely guidance, and smooth execution of deliverables.
  • Manage discussions with French Technical Coordinators.
  • Lead and support the structural design and development of primary aerospace components such as Frame/Beam/Skin/Stringer etc.. and secondary components such as loaded & unloaded brackets/clips/fittings etc.. in accordance with Airbus processes, methods, and standards.
  • Solid understanding of aerospace design principles, airworthiness constraints, and manufacturing processes.
