Infosys in Toulouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead static stress analyses and FAT/Damage Tolerance assessments for aircraft structures. You will work with ISAMI, Patran/Nastran, and Hypermesh, aligning with Airbus processes and concessions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, timely deliverables and maintain airworthiness standards across programs such as A320, A330, A350 and A380.

Qualifications

• Static stress, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analyses for aerospace structures.
• Knowledge of Airbus design requirements and concession processes.
• Experience with Airbus processes and documentation (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS).
• Hands-on aerospace structural stress and concession analysis (5–10 years).
• Bi-lingual (French and English) with strong communication skills.
• Proven Airbus program experience (A320/A330/A350/A380).

Job Description

• Lead and perform static stress analysis and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) assessments to evaluate the impact of non conformities, repairs and modifications on primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Understand baseline/certification stress analysis performed on specific work packages.
• Understand concession inputs such as CODs, COIs, COAs etc.
• Conduct stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures using both analytical and numerical methods as per Airbus certification and engineering methods.
• Utilize Airbus specific tools such as ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM, as well as finite element software (Patran/Nastran, Hypermesh).
• Collaborate closely with the offshore stress team, ensuring clear technical communication, timely guidance, and smooth execution of deliverables.
• Prepare, Review and validate stress outputs such as COS, COI and etc. in line with Airbus and Airworthiness requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Airbus SAP, PLM, and configuration control processes.
• Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.).
• Serve as a technical representative for onsite offshore coordination, addressing queries, clarifications, and technical escalations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Analysis using stress methods (Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance) to justify structural justifications for non-conformities (Concessions).
• Knowledge of hand calculations and FE analysis.
• Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS, etc.).
• Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
• Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx etc.).
• Ensuring the safe operation of Airbus aircraft with respect to structural integrity.
• Airbus Concession Signatory experience
• Valid Airbus training certificates in AIRBUS SAP, ISAMI, VPM and PASS SSI.
• Bi-lingual (French and English).
• BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering)
• 5-10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.
• Proven experience working on Airbus aircraft programs (A320, A330, A350, A380, etc.).
