• Experience in risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators).

Responsabilités

• Draft compliance policy mappings, procedures, and operational methods with operational teams.
• Participate in regulatory reporting for AMF and ACPR and non-regulatory reporting.
• Assist European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring risk framework is effective.
• Assist with collection of Key Risk Indicators and risk meeting data points.
• Collect and analyse incidents to ensure lessons are learnt and action plans monitored.
• Assist with preparation of risk presentations and incident case studies.

Our client's business in Paris concentrates on 3 poles of activity : 1) Debt Capital Markets - bond financing, loan restructuring 2) Asset management 3) Trusts.

In response to recent commercial successes they are now looking to hire a senior governance professional to cover aspects of regulatory compliance and operational risk management. This role will involve regular interaction with both the AMF and ACPR.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft compliance policy mappings, procedures, and operational methods in collaboration with operational teams
• Participate in the production of regulatory reporting for the AMF and ACPR as well as non-regulatory reporting
• Assist the European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring that the risk management framework is effective and operational, which includes the Risk & Control Self-Assessment Framework
• Assist with the collation of Key Risk Indicators and risk meeting data points
• Collecting and analysing incidents to ensure that relevant lessons are learnt; agreed action plans monitoring and escalating the issues to the management attention when necessary
• Assist with the preparation of risk presentations and case studies of incidents

Key skills and experience required are:

• Education: Bac+5 in finance, management, law, audit or any other relevant diploma
• 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management/Regulatory in financial services - asset management, investment banking or payment services would be an advantage
• Experience in risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators)
• Languages: fluency in French and English is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
