Roly Recruitment's client, a diversified European financial services group in Paris, seeks a manager-level professional to oversee regulatory compliance and aspects of operational risk, interacting with AMF and ACPR.

The role covers drafting policy documents, regulatory reporting, and risk governance; it demands Bac+5 and 5+ years in risk/regulatory roles within financial services, fluent French and English, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bac+5 in finance, management, law, audit or any other relevant diploma
• 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management/Regulatory in financial services - asset management, investment banking or payment services would be an advantage
• Experience in risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators)
• Languages: fluency in French and English is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Draft compliance policy documents specific to financial markets activity
• Provide regulatory reports to the AMF and ACPR. On occasions you may have to engage with the CSSF in Luxembourg on behalf of the Luxembourg ManCo subsidiary
• Assist the European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring that the risk management framework is effective and operational, which includes the Risk & Control Self-Assessment Framework
• Collect and analyse incidents to ensure that relevant lessons are learnt; agreed action plans monitoring and escalating the issues to the management attention when necessary
• Assist with the preparation of risk presentations and case studies of incidents

Diversified European financial services group with an exciting growth strategy for France.

Our client's business in Paris concentrates on 3 poles of activity : 1) Debt Capital Markets - bond financing, loan restructuring 2) Asset management 3) Trusts.

In response to recent commercial successes they are now looking to hire a manager level professional to cover regulatory compliance and some aspects of operational risk. This role will involve regular interaction with both the AMF and ACPR.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft compliance policy documents specific to financial markets activity
• Provide regulatory reports to the AMF and ACPR. On occasions you may have to engage with the CSSF in Luxembourg on behalf of the Luxembourg ManCo subsidiary
• Assist the European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring that the risk management framework is effective and operational, which includes the Risk & Control Self-Assessment Framework
