Job summary

RH2 is seeking a Project Leadership and Strategic Guidance professional to support public-sector clients with trusted leadership, coordination, and strategic guidance from planning through closeout.

The role involves coordinating between multiple disciplines, presenting at hearings, and mentoring staff while ensuring quality and clear communication across stakeholders. Remote work may be possible depending on client needs and RH2 offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Current P.E. license in WA/OR/ID.
• Minimum 15 years of transferable experience in public or private sectors.
• Experience in water, wastewater, transportation, environmental, or stormwater planning and design.
• Experience in project management in public works, development services, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of engineering design and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted project leadership and strategic guidance to public-sector clients.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and suppliers; review plans and drawings.
• Present at hearings and coordinate multi-disciplinary work.
• Oversee field assignments and project closeout; manage schedules and costs.
• Assist with grant applications and management; prepare proposals and contracts.
• Mentor staff and coordinate tasks between RH2 and client teams.
