About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Civil Engineer / Assistant Engineering Manager

to join an established engineering consulting team supporting a range of civil engineering and land development projects. This role combines technical leadership, project coordination, and engineering design, with opportunities to mentor team members and contribute to project delivery.

Based in Pittsburgh, PA, this position offers hybrid work flexibility and a mix of office-based and field assignments across multiple project sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on site development, grading, subdivision plans, and land development projects.
• Oversee the preparation and review of erosion and sediment control plans and post-construction stormwater management plans.
• Perform and review hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage calculations.
• Develop stormwater management designs and best management practice (BMP) solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare grading plans, 3D surfaces, profiles, cross-sections, pipe networks, and corridors.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support project execution.
