Job summary

Swan is seeking a Software Engineer to join its tech team of 70+ for a multi-month project. The engineering team spans software developers, infrastructure, devops, QA and security, with a focus on a reactive architecture.

You will collaborate with the product team to design the bank-by-API, optimize backend performance, and ensure adherence to architecture rules and automated tests while contributing to a high-load, secure system.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a Software Developer with backend focus and TS proficiency.
• Strong backend optimization, observability, SQL queries, and tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and distributed/microservice architectures.

Responsibilities

• Be technically responsible for one or more projects.
• Solve problems in a demanding IT domain with a reactive architecture.
• Design with the product team the API bank.
• Improve performance of a system with growing load.
• Ensure architecture rules and automated tests are respected.
