Job summary

LumApps is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team and scale the MicroApps platform. You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable back-end features powering MicroApps, define architectural choices, and build high-performance APIs in close collaboration with web and mobile teams.

You will work in the Work & Automation tribe on integrating AI workflows, third-party APIs, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on backend software engineering.
• Languages: Fluent in both French and English.
• Location: Based in or willing to commute to Lyon/Tassin-la-Demi-Lune or Paris offices (hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable back-end features for MicroApps.
• Define long-term architectural strategies and sustainable technical solutions.
• Build high-performance APIs in collaboration with web and mobile teams.
• Contribute to automated testing strategy and code reviews.
• Monitor service health and performance to ensure high availability.
• Integrate AI workflows and tools into engineering practices.
