Morpho is hiring a senior backend engineer to build and own the consumer APIs powering Morpho's DeFi products. You will design GraphQL data models and robust data pipelines, delivering sub-second responses at scale.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of backend development in production TypeScript/Node environments.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with backend-for-frontend patterns and collaborating with frontend teams.
• Proven ability to operate production systems at scale with reliability and observability.
• Strong interest in Web3 and DeFi; able to learn domain quickly.
• Comfort in fast-changing, ambiguous environments with changing priorities.
• Strong ownership and autonomy over outcomes end-to-end.
• Clear, concise async communication across distributed teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop backend features using TypeScript/Node for the Morpho Consumer team.
• Design and evolve GraphQL APIs and data models for secure, fast data delivery.
• Operate PostgreSQL-backed data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product to ship end-to-end features.
• Identify architectural improvements to simplify systems and reduce burden.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to maintain quality.
• Write clear documentation and async updates for stakeholders.
