Jus Mundi is building an autonomous AI-powered Data Platform to ingest, process and enrich multilingual legal documents. We seek a Senior Backend Engineer to own services behind the platform, including agent orchestration, the catalog API, and the processing layer turning raw files into searchable, well-described documents.

You will work with a small, senior Data team within EPD, collaborating closely with Legal Content and Product squads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping and operating production backend or data services.
• Hands-on experience building agent orchestration in production — tool calling, memory and state management.
• Postgres in depth — schema design and migrations under load.
• Systems judgment: idempotency, at-least-once semantics, atomic writes.

Responsabilités

• Build the agents that acquire documents from heterogeneous sources and manage orchestration.
• Own the transactional catalog and the API, designing a robust data schema.
• Develop PDF/HTML text extraction, OCR and metadata extraction pipelines using LLMs.
• Instrument, deploy and operate services with metrics, logs and traces for traceability.
