Jus Mundi in Paris is building the AI layer for international law and arbitration — turning a multilingual corpus of case law, treaties, and analysis into trusted answers for practitioners.

We are looking for a Senior AI engineer to own applied AI systems behind that: search relevance, RAG over legal docs, autonomous agents, and rigorous evaluation harnesses. This hands-on role requires turning ambiguous problems into technical roadmaps and shipping production features with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping LLM-powered features to production.
• Experience with retrieval and RAG architectures to improve relevance.
• Design and ship agent orchestration loops with memory and tool calling.
• Strong evaluation methodology and benchmarking for model quality.
• Demonstrated fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA) and synthetic data generation.
• Strong Python backend skills; some TypeScript/Node for integration.
• Ability to translate vague business problems into technical roadmaps.
• Mentor peers and contribute to RFCs, code reviews, and hiring.

Responsabilités

• Own and improve search relevance over a multilingual legal corpus.
• Design and build agent orchestration systems with planning and memory.
• Run rigorous evals and benchmarks to ensure accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
• Fine-tune models and create synthetic data to boost performance.
• Deploy AI features to production with attention to latency and costs.
• Create shared tooling and patterns to accelerate other squads.
