Pixid is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across API, end-to-end and performance testing as we transition to a microservice architecture.

You will build robust automation frameworks, define acceptance criteria with Product Owners, and collaborate with developers, DevOps and QA squads to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Strong API testing expertise using RESTful tools and frameworks.
• Hands-on with load testing tools and performance monitoring.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices testing and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Git and branching strategies.

We’re seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to drive quality automation across API, end-to-end, and performance testing.

This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards as we transition to a microservice architecture. You’ll build robust automation frameworks, ensure system reliability at scale, and implement quality gates throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and with developers to clarify API contracts and UI.

Quality mindset

Champion quality standards across the team, proactively identifying risks and proposing improvements to prevent defects rather than just detecting them

Test Automation

Design and implement comprehensive API test automation frameworks, covering functional, integration, and contract testing for RESTful and event-driven services

End-to-End Testing

Develop and maintain E2E test suites that validate critical user journeys across multiple micro-services and frontend applications

Performance Engineering

Design and execute load testing strategies, including stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing, to ensure system performance under various conditions

Framework Development

Extend reusable test automation frameworks and libraries that can scale across multiple squads

Quality Gates

Implement automated quality gates in CI pipelines, ensuring code doesn't progress without meeting quality criteria

Cross-team Collaboration

Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC

5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years focused on test automation

API Testing Expertise

Strong experience with REST API testing tools (Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, Karate) and API test automation frameworks

Performance Testing

Hands-on experience with load testing tools (JMeter, K6) and performance monitoring (using ELK, Grafana)

CI/CD Integration

Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Microservices Testing

Understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems, including service virtualization and chaos engineering

Version Control

Proficiency with Git and branching strat
