Job summary

N26 seeks a Senior Manager Business Audit for the French Market to lead and support internal audit activities focused on AML/AFC/KYC. You will manage the full audit cycle, develop risk-based plans, and present findings to the Executive Board.

The role emphasizes governance, risk controls, and collaboration with senior stakeholders in Europe. You'll work with a diverse, multinational team, inspecting product, operations, sales, and partnerships, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
• 7+ years as Internal Auditor in an international, regulated environment (bank/ financial institution or audit firm).
• Deep knowledge of AML/AML regulations, risk controls and French banking rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support internal business audit activities across the N26 Group with focus on French market and AML/KYC.
• Prepare and manage full audit cycle including risk and control management.
• Develop and update risk-based annual audit plan across functions (Product, Customer Operations, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships).
• Draft detailed written internal audit reports and present findings to the Executive Board and committees.
• Monitor remediation of audit findings within agreed timelines.
• Supervise and review work of junior team members.
