Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Layout Design Engineer to contribute across a range of products such as DC-DC converters, controllers and drivers. You will work on analog layout from block level to full chip, drive floorplanning, and own designs with minimal supervision, handling circuits like charge pumps, comparators, amplifiers, bandgaps and linear regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer engineering.
• 6+ years in Analog Layout Design and associated flows for DRC, LVS, Packaging.
• Experience with IC processing (BCD nodes) and advanced IC CAD tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout analog circuitry from block level to full chip.
• Perform floorplanning and leaf cell layout with emphasis on EM and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑site layout teams to deliver high‑quality layouts on schedule.
• Ensure IP portability and adhere to design methodology guidelines.
