Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced Layout Design Engineer to work on DC-DC converters, controllers and drivers. You will drive analog layout from block to full chip and collaborate with cross‑site teams to deliver high‑quality layouts.

The role requires 6+ years in analog layout, strong floorplanning, and proficiency with CAD tools such as Virtuoso XL and Calibre. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE/EC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer engineering.
• 6+ years in Analog Layout Design and associated flows for DRC, LVS, Packaging.
• Solid understanding of IC processing, packaging and production test with familiarity with advanced IC CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Experience in floor planning, leaf cell layout and analog layout matching techniques.
• Ability to work independently to floorplan and layout analog circuits to drive schedule.
• Collaborate with cross layout teams worldwide to deliver high quality layouts.
