Cohesity is seeking an experienced architect to develop architecture and transition blueprints for customer deployments, migrations, and platform transformation initiatives. You will craft repeatable deployment templates used by delivery and partner teams to deploy Cohesity solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of architecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others, with hands-on collaboration across engineering, systems engineers, and customer support. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional IT experience.
Experience in backup products, compute & virtualization, databases, storage, networking, security, and cloud.
Scripting / Automation (Python, Ansible and ServiceNow).
Excellent communication and project-related skills required.

Responsabilités

Deliver architecture designs and professional services to Cohesity customers.
Lead customer transition initiatives from assessment through deployment completion, serving as technical authority for migration strategy, workload prioritization and execution planning.
Identify technical, operational, security, and business risks and establish transition plans prior to implementation.
Act as a trusted advisor to customer architects, infrastructure teams, and executive stakeholders.
Review and approve design deviations, implementation decisions and deployment readiness milestones.
Build strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teams.
Collaborate with product solutions, product management and engineering to bridge technology capabilities with customer requirements.
Present architecture recommendations, deployment strategies, and technical risks to executives and technical stakeholders.
Engage directly with customers to understand organization needs and how Cohesity features support objectives.
Develop detailed solution designs including architecture diagrams, sizing specifications, integration requirements, and risk assessments.
Provide field feedback to Product Management and Engineering on deployment challenges, feature gaps, and automation opportunities.
Define technical architecture including sizing and performance that meet customer requirements.
Engage with teams to ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployed.
Develop best practices for deployment designs that translate to project plans.
Continually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/products.
Inspect deliverables for success and improvements.
Work with teams to develop post‑deployment run books and templates.
Provide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experience.
