Algolia is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own complex production systems and shape reliable, scalable infrastructure. You will lead Kubernetes-based platforms, implement SLOs, observability, and capacity planning while driving cross-team improvements and automation.

Strong cloud and distributed-systems background, plus English fluency, are essential. The role offers a flexible workplace with remote or hybrid options, and a base salary range disclosed by the company.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on production experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience designing and operating Kubernetes and cloud-native production systems at scale.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking and reliability engineering.
• Ability to own ambiguous cross-team technical problems and drive results.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve production infrastructure supporting AI-related workloads and services at scale.
• Design and operate highly available Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Drive reliability through SLOs, observability, capacity planning and guardrails.
• Lead production investigations and implement durable architectural improvements.
• Improve shared infrastructure across networking, databases and compute.
• Build better CI/CD, progressive delivery and automation.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for reliability.
