Algolia, a leader in AI-powered search, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the design and operation of the Search and Indexing systems. You’ll contribute to reliability while supporting a full-remote team with optional hybrid or Paris office work.

You will share expertise on distributed systems and coordinate with other teams to resolve high-impact issues. The role emphasizes on-call responsibilities, system quality, and scalable architectures for NeuralSearch in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience working with large datasets and high traffic.
• Rigor in code quality, automated testing and best practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Nice to have: Go programming language.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop the Search and Indexing systems.
• Own operations for the Search system including on-call rota.
• Work with a fully remote team with options for remote, hybrid, or Paris-based work.
• Ensure the quality and soundness of the system.
• Share distributed systems expertise with the team.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues.
