Vega Health is seeking a senior cloud engineer to design and scale our cloud infrastructure and platform delivery. You will partner with product, business, and engineering teams to modernize platform capabilities and enable data-driven insights.

You will lead architecture, drive automation, and ensure reliability and security across deployments, with international travel possible and relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience with containerized workloads and cloud-native services.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure with automation.
• Develop and maintain production services and tools alongside infrastructure work.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation or equivalent.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS or GKE.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP).
• Mentor engineers and translate requirements into automated solutions.
