Veepee seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Foundation - Infrastructure Development team. You will contribute across multiple projects, including Gaio (GenAI Orchestrator) and VeepeeCloud, with focus on private cloud, LLM integration, and API development.

You will work with SREs, DevOps, and Product Owners across Rust, Go, and Scala, delivering production-grade services, incident response, and code reviews in an international, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or Scala, with willingness to work across all three.
• Experience with large databases and production incident management.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/SRE tooling: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of fault-tolerance, observability, scalability, and reliability in distributed systems.
• English proficiency and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain production services across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Participate in architectural discussions and challenge trade-offs between approaches.
• Collaborate with SREs on infrastructure and operational decisions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to their resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Use AI coding agents.
