CT19 in Paris is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to own the cloud platform from the ground up. You’ll define architecture, set engineering standards and build the infrastructure that the product and AI platform depend on.

You’ll work with software and AI engineers to design scalable, secure cloud systems for large workloads, with primary responsibility for AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes and IaC, while driving DevOps best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure (GCP highly valued).
• Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

We're working with an ambitious AI startup building the cloud platform powering next-generation surgical intelligence.

Their technology combines AI, computer vision and large-scale data infrastructure to help transform complex surgical video and clinical data into structured, trustworthy insights that improve healthcare.

They're now looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to take ownership of their cloud platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage engineering team where you'll define architecture, establish engineering standards, and build the infrastructure that the entire product and AI platform depends on.

The Role

As the Senior Cloud Architect, you'll own the design, implementation and long-term reliability of the company's cloud infrastructure.

You'll work closely with software engineers and AI engineers to build scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of video, machine learning workloads and production services.

This is a hands-on technical role with significant architectural ownership rather than a management position.

What you'll be doing

We're looking for someone with experience in

• Designing and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• AWS, GCP or Azure (GCP experience is particularly valuable).
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Networking, security, IAM and cloud architecture.
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus or Datadog.
• Docker and containerised applications.
• Building highly available, scalable production systems.
